Eco-Verde Homes utilizes the latest technology in home construction. The Insulock Block by American Insulock offers increased speed of construction, superior insulation, and a level of comfort.
Speed of Construction Simple to build with, the Insulock block allows homes to built in a fraction of the time when compared with conventional construction methods. This means your home will be completed faster.
Superior Insulation Homeowners are always concerned with the 'hidden costs' of a new home. Energy costs are always difficult to forecast and can be astonishingly high when not properly anticipated. The Insulock Block affords the homeowner an R-38 insulation value in an 8" thick wall. Coupled with proper roofing and energy efficient appliances, homeowners can expect up to a 60% reduction in cooling costs and up to a 50% reduction in heating costs.
The Insulock Block creates a home built with steel-reinforced concrete. Stronger and more durable than conventional methods, a home built from Insulock Blocks is well suited for tropical regions with seasonal storms, seismic regions, and other areas where building codes require stronger residential structures.
The Company’s core business is the manufacture and distribution of its brand of insulating concrete forms (known as Insulock Blocks), together with the equipment that is used to manufacture these blocks. Insulock Blocks are made of polyurethane rather than polystyrene (i.e. Styrofoam®), which is the material that is used by virtually every other manufacturer of insulating concrete forms. Insulock Blocks are much stronger than polystyrene blocks and can be used to construct soundwalls and buildings that are highly effective at absorbing sound and that have an R-30 or R-38 heat insulating value.
